The Chophawk Buzzard Hair Cutting Scissors are crafted from cobalt, which offers several advantages over traditional steel options. Cobalt is a harder material than Japanese 440C steel, allowing these scissors to maintain their edge longer and provide a smoother, cleaner cut over extended periods. This makes cobalt ideal for high-use environments where durability and precision are critical. In contrast, Japanese 440C steel, used in some of our other models, is a high-quality stainless steel known for its toughness and corrosion resistance.
